Tips for Cleaning Your Tires

When your wheels are clean, you know that it’s more than your appearance. Your wheels just feel better, and it protects against weathering and cracking. If you have any type of tire blooming, or browning of the rubber, then you can clean it off with a thorough clean as well. There are some things that make this process easier and much faster. This includes a bucket, tire cleaning solution, microfiber towels, and a garden hose. You can try a foam applicator pad or tire brush if you want to get an ultra deep clean.

The first thing you’ll do is rinse your toes with clean water. This will remove any debris and grime that’s been stuck in your tire treads or under axles. You can use a garden hose or pressure washer to get a fast, clean removal of all the grime. It’s also important that when you’re done with the car wash, you dry off the wheels with the microfiber towel.
