For years, the Kia Sorento has been the largest model of the lineup, but that's all changing in the coming months when the all-new 2020 Kia Telluride makes its grand debut at our Fort Collins dealership! Here's a little information about the upcoming three-row SUV so you can whet your appetite.

The Telluride comes in four trims (LX, S, EX, and SX), and all options have a 3.8L V6 with 291 horsepower and 262 lb-ft torque. If you need to tow you can bring up to 5,000 pounds along for the adventure. The four standard Drive Modes are Comfort, Eco, Sport, and Smart, and select trims can tack on the Snow setting, and that is sure to be popular with Colorado drivers.

The LX and EX trims have eight-passenger seating, and the S and SX have seven-passenger seating with a 2nd-row captain's seat setup. The LX and EX sport SOFINO synthetic leather that looks like the real-deal, and the remaining two have leather. On the top SX, you can upgrade to premium nappa leather seat trim for an extra luxurious interior.

One of the biggest tech standouts on the upcoming Telluride is the 10.25-inch touchscreen that starts on the EX trim. It really makes a statement and even blows some luxury-brand touchscreen sizes out of the water. (The standard screen is a healthy 8-inches.) Other exciting technologies on each trim include a standard smart key + a push button start, 10-way power seats on the LX, a smart liftgate on the EX, and a blind-spot view monitor on the SX, as well as the SX's available head-up display.

Since most Telluride shoppers will be families, it makes sense that the three-row SUV comes equipped with a strong list of advanced safety technologies. Ones that aren't as familiar include the available highway driving assist and the previously mentioned blind-spot view monitor that will be part of the supervision cluster. On the base model you'll have standard smart cruise with stop/go, forward collision avoidance assist, a rear occupant alert, and more.

The 2020 Kia Telluride will be here before you know it, so visit us at Tynan's Kia Fort Collins to learn more and get your name on the list so you can be one of the first to know when it lands at our location!
